Overview

Input is the first step to selecting the data source from one of the the available options under the Profile menu.

1. Go to the Dashboard.
2. Click on Edit button.
3. Click Profiles button.
4. Click Connection button.

The Connection Type window opens, will list of available connections to choose.

1. Select the desired connection type.
   1. TCP
   2. Com Serial
   3. File system Writer
   4. FTP
   5. HTTPS
   6. Data Engine
2. Click Ok button.
3. Once saved, the New input connection will be added to the Profile screen as shown below:

Next step is to select the Module to either transfer the file as-is via Direct Proxy, or one of the other options listed in the module topic.
