4.1 Overview
Management functions for the News service are not centralized and do not require a News Superuser role to be assigned. These include uploading News templates as Lyric files, deleting and protecting existing News templates and selecting the Default Project. These functions require either administrator privileges or write access privileges on the News Project folders.
4.2 Get Template XML
The News tab has only one link exclusive to superusers called ‘Get Template XML’. This is a legacy feature for linking Lyric image fields to Axis templates that is no longer used. See Section XX for instructions in how to link Lyric and Prime image fields to Axis templates using the CAMIO Asset Manager Replaceables page.
4.3 Selecting the Default News Project
The Default News Project can be selected to be either All Projects or Local Projects. This must be done by a Group Level Administrator.

4.4 Uploading News Templates
Axis News Templates are uploaded in Track as follows. Uploading does not require superuser or admin privileges, but user must have write access to the Project being uploaded to.
- Click the green Upload button
- Select the Project which the template will be saved to
- Select Asset Type = Template
- Upload a properly designed Lyric template.

4.5 Deleting News Templates
News templates can be deleted from the Track interface. Uploading does not require superuser or admin privileges, but user must have write access to the Project being uploaded to.
Searching for a template to delete can be made more easily by selecting the Asset Type = Template filter first. Click on the garbage can icon to delete the selected template.
