Overview
AXIS Maps integrates with the AXIS broadcast platform, enabling maps and map styles to be used directly within AXIS workflows. This integration connects the Styles Manager assignment system with the AXIS Maps portal, ensuring that operators in AXIS see only the styles and configurations appropriate to their project.
How Integration Works
The integration flows from style creation to broadcast output:
- Styles are created in the Styles Editor.
- Styles are bundled into Templates and Presets in the Styles Manager.
- Presets are assigned to organizations, stations, and projects in the Styles Manager.
- In the Maps Editor, users assemble maps using only the styles and configurations from their assigned Preset.
- Completed assets are stored in the AXIS Track module for retrieval and broadcast delivery.
AXIS Track — Asset Management
Track is the central asset storage for all assembled AXIS content, including maps, news, charts, orders, and quotes. All maps created through the AXIS Maps are automatically stored in Track after assembly.
Finding a Map in Track
- From the AXIS navigation, click Track.
- Use the search bar to search by map title, keywords, or creation date.
- Browse the results to open the map asset.
- Preview the map directly in Track or send it for broadcast delivery.
User Permissions and Animation Settings
AXIS user management controls which features are available to each user. User Management is managed by Station and Hub administrators.
