How is the LIVE setup configured for IBC demonstrations?
- Hardware Control: The booth presentation features an optimized control configuration utilizing a flex monitor, Stream Deck, and Shuttle.
- Sports Integrations: We are showcasing new direct input connections via Streamhub, seamless data integration with Presto Sports, and specialized master control panels tailored for sports like pickleball and soccer.
- News Workflows: The news demo mirrors the NAB setup but delivers increased reliability. It highlights an improved master control panel, new anniversary graphics, and an automated button to trigger opening sequences. (Note: Full chroma key support within LIVE via PRIME remains on the future roadmap).
What major new features are being introduced for LIVE at IBC?
- LIVE Portal (Autonomous Management): The new LIVE portal integrates with UAM (User Access Management). This allows users to autonomously purchase, spin up, and manage their LIVE environments directly through the AWS marketplace without needing back-and-forth interaction with our team.
- "Talk" Native Intercom: We are introducing "Talk," a native, entirely web-based intercom feature. It allows for browser-based communication on mobile devices (no app download required) and integrates directly with tally lights.
- Direct Output Recording: You can now record the full program output—including all mixed audio—directly within the LIVE system.
What synchronization capabilities are on the roadmap?
- Scorebug and Data Sync (IBC Demo): A key focus for the IBC demo is demonstrating the ability to intentionally delay data inputs to perfectly match video processing times. This ensures that scorebugs update in exact synchronization with the live game action.
- Commentator Sync (Post-IBC): We are planning to implement a system that delays video output to match remote commentator audio. This guarantees that a remote commentator's reaction to a play is perfectly timed with the vision the audience sees.
