IBC Edition
What can I see at IBC?
You can see PRIME features (versions 5.3 through 5.7), including:
- PRIME Translate and AI Integration: Automated multi-language graphic workflows.
- NVIDIA Holoscan and Project Shark Tooth: Ultra-low latency IP 2110 AI localization.
- PRIME HTML MVP: Two-way scene migration between PRIME Engine and HTML.
- Multi-System Sync: Synchronized video wall management and data-delayed scorebug alignment.
What is PRIME Translate and how does it automate localization?
PRIME Translate automates multi-language graphics production by leveraging the AI Media Lexi API to push live translated text directly into dynamic replaceable objects. Controlled via PRIME Orchestrator, operators can manage localized graphics outputs across multi-node clusters and switch language assignments across machines with a single button toggle.
What is "Project Shark Tooth" and how does NVIDIA Holoscan fit in?
Project Shark Tooth is a joint solution developed by NVIDIA, Monks, Chyron, and AI Media. Operating over SMPTE ST 2110 IP networks for ultra-low latency, it delivers complete live localization by pairing PRIME's graphic translations with AI-driven voice and lip-sync video translation.
What capabilities does the new PRIME HTML MVP offer?
The PRIME HTML MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is an on-premise solution that enables seamless two-way scene migration between the native PRIME Engine and HTML. It features an HTML-compliant designer toolbox and allows PRIME graphics to be served directly via IP addresses for pickup in web browsers or web-based downstream devices.
How does Multi-System Sync improve video walls and scorebug synchronization?
- Video Walls: Multi-System Sync allows PRIME Master Control Panels (MCP) to scale across multiple render engines, delivering frame-accurate, synchronized graphics across large-scale studio displays and video walls.
- Scorebug Data Sync: To eliminate spoiler delays in live sports, PRIME syncs live data inputs by matching the latency of incoming video feeds, ensuring score changes align precisely with the live game action.
What is the future roadmap for PRIME beyond IBC?
Active development is underway for Omni Channels, an upcoming architecture expansion that will further scale Multi-System Sync across large display canvases, alongside ongoing enhancements to gRPC clip player APIs, audio clip handling, and deeper HTML authoring capabilities.
