board: represents an area on the physical GPU output of the system; the pixels inside this GPU output area are processed and displayed on LED video boards
bug: created in the Graphics Editor, it remains in Program until it is physically removed; a TV station logo is a typical example of a bug
Click Effects Network: enables any Click Effects PRIME Workflow to remotely control any other Click Effects PRIME Workflow
command keys: special hot keys that perform system commands such as STOP ALL and other media controls
continuous-play: automatically plays all the media items from the first one to the last; if stopped before reaching the last item, the playlist remembers the index of the last media item played
continuous-with-reset-play: plays all the media items from the first one to the last; the index of the playlist resets to the first index any time the playlist is stopped
displace: starts from the location where you moved or pasted a media button and drops the copy into that location; it shifts the media button currently in that location one position to the right
DVE: stands for Digital Video Effect; it can perform a video squeeze or display Picture-in-Picture with both video playback and Live Feed
embedded audio: audio that is contained in the video stream
Event workflow: a hybrid system that combines SDI players with GPU video boards; it supports up to 2 GPU outputs and up to 8 SDI connections
full screen graphic: created in the Graphics Editor, it behaves much like a still; it displaces currently playing video, stills, or full screen graphics when moved to Program
GPU workflow: a platform that can control multiple video boards; its HX and MX platforms process and display video on LED video boards
group: a media button that can contain a collection of other media buttons; it simplifies launching multiple media by simultaneously activating all grouped media buttons
GTC: a custom file format for video files encoded with GTC compression; this format is used across many Chyron products and acts just like an AVI or MOV file
HD-SDI workflow: the successor to Click Effects Crossfire; its platforms can handle broadcast quality Audio/Video Input and Audio/Video Output
hot keys: a powerful feature that ties media buttons to keystrokes on the keyboard; using one is similar to using the mouse to click a media button
media bank: a storage location that holds a total of fourteen media pages; it is represented by a tab on the left-hand side of your screen
media button: represents the very core of the Click Effects PRIME workflow media playback functionality; it represents a link to content residing on your system's hard drive
media page: the visual area within which media buttons are located; a single media page can contain up to 60 media buttons
media vault: stores media buttons that are not currently in use; items stored here are not available for playback and are not returned in search results using the Media Finder
organizer mode: allows you to select buttons without sending them to Preview; it enables you to move, copy, paste, edit, or delete your media buttons
overlay: created in the Graphics Editor, it attaches itself to a video, still, or full screen graphic in Program; it disappears as soon as the associated media is stopped or displaced

player mode: the default mode of the workflow; it allows you to play media items
playlist: a sequential list of media items; it can be configured as a video/still playlist, graphics playlist, or audio playlist
preview: a state where media has been loaded and is visible in the Preview window
program: a state where media is sent to the output of the HD-SDI workflow
remote: a media button that fires events; these events can display media buttons, perform commands, or control exterior hardware
single-play: a playlist mode that plays the current playlist media item and stops
still: a single frame of video; any still moved to Program displaces currently playing video, stills, or full screen graphics
take: the act of moving media from Preview to Program
users: the central object around which media collections are built; each user is linked to a specific media collection and collection of settings
VDCP: stands for Video Disk Control Protocol; it is a serial communication protocol used mainly for controlling professional broadcast equipment
video: full motion video; any video moved to Program displaces currently playing video, stills, or full screen graphics
watch folders: provide a method for importing content behind the scenes; when a media file is copied into one of these folders, it is imported and appears in the Watch Folder Import window
